Coast to Coast Tours was established in 2002, and is currently Tripadvisor’s No1 Auckland attraction and finalists in the 2009 Hospitality Awards (for Sustainability). We provide an all-inclusive, small group, ‘true’ ECO-tour, which combines the Nature, Culture, Environmental & Conservation elements outlined in The International Ecotourism Society (T.I.E.S.) criteria, which we are members.
Full day tour includes LUNCH (with wine/beer), WAITAKERE RAINFOREST (a fully guided tour), CRAFT MARKET (all NZ products), WINE tasting (at an award-winning winery), HONEY tasting (at ‘BeesOnline’ Organic Honey Centre), MURIWAI BEACH GANNET colony (a fully guided easy walk), our SHEEP FARM & HOMESTEAD for a homemade afternoon tea, overview of Maori culture, and hands-on animal experience.
We also cater SHORE EXCURSIONS for Cruise Boat passengers, which include our ever-popular ‘Kiwiana-themed’ BBQ lunch at our farm, and sheep shearing demo. We make your Auckland Shore Excursion CARBON-NEUTRAL with a complimentary Native tree ‘group’ planting for our farm’s Forest Reserve.
